What was the driving force to create Talk to the Pros?
Over the years I found myself saying, "If I only knew then what I know now, I would have…" and then describe a different solution or action to that problem from sometime ago. Then I discovered that I was not alone in saying these very words. Many of my fellow salespeople and executives were experiencing the same phenomenon.

I decided to get ahead of the curve and solicit information from professionals who have experienced many of the business and life challenges that I have had or would face in the future. Then I could pass on their successful solutions to these problems to you. In a nutshell, Talk to the Pros allows anyone, at any age, in any country throughout the world to learn and be prepared for some of the issues we all face from time to time.

If I have questions, how can I submit them to your team? And, will you answer my questions?
Simply go to the "Contact Us" page, type your questions in the Comment box, and click the Submit button. As to whether or not we will answer your questions will depend on the questions. If the questions are general in nature and don't require an in-depth understanding of the circumstances, we will answer those questions straight away.

However, if you are looking for a simple answer to a complex question, we would not answer that question, because it would be a disservice to you since we would not have sufficient information to provide a competent answer. However, if you want an answer in full to your complex problem, you can contact any of the professionals directly. Because they would be acting as a consultant, there would be a fee involved. The professionals will fully inform you of the fee and you can accept or decline the consultation.

How do I know that the professionals on your webcast are really "professionals"?
Every person that applies to be accepted as a professional in any category is required to undergo an interview by our Quality Control team to determine if that person has the depth of knowledge and the years of experience to provide the highest quality of insight and advice, as well as a genuine desire to help others and not just to appear on our webcast.

If I wanted to be considered as a professional in one of your categories, what would I need to do?
If you are inquiring about being a professional in one of our current categories, we would not consider you, unless there are extremely strong reasons to do so. All of our current professionals have dedicated many hours to bring our viewers the best possible information available, and we respect their efforts and support them as valuable members of our team.

If you are interested in joining our team as a professional in another category, we would be pleased to consider you. Go to the form on the Contact Us page, and type in the Comment area your name and a way to contact you. One of our team members will contact you and determine which category you want to participate in. They will then converse with you to learn about your expertise and experience in that field.

Is there a cost to being one of the professionals?
Yes, there is a fee. This type of broadcasting is considered advertising of your service or product. Additionally, it is a means to help drive Internet traffic to your personal website. Therefore, Talk to the Pros charges a fee commensurate with the services we provide. In reality, the category that you would participate in is a website within a website, and we do all the work to drive traffic to our site. If a Google search were made for your particular category, you would get the visitor from that search. If a visitor is looking at another category and notices your category in the list of categories, there is an excellent chance that visitor will click on your category just to see what your category is all about.

If you have a website of your own, the visitor can simply click on your link and be sent straight to your website. Furthermore, for a small fee, our video production team will provide you with a DVD of your segment(s) that you can use to promote your business. Talk to the Pros will provide you with written reproduction rights and you can make as many copies as you would like for distribution to your current clients and hand to your prospects. It sure beats a paper brochure, no matter how much you spend on the design, graphics and printing.

If I became a professional and participated in some segments, who owns the rights to the video of my segments?
Our type of broadcasting falls under the category for the advertising industry. In this industry, it is customary that the rights to the video reside with the designer and/or the publisher. Any graphics prepared by the Talk to the Pros graphics team are also considered our property unless those rights are transferred in writing to another person or business.

Why did your development team decide on a video format?
There was a great deal of discussion about this subject. Our team wanted to make as strong an impression as possible on the viewers so they would absorb the information as quickly as possible and that the information would make a lasting impression. We discovered a well-publicized study by UCLA that concluded that only 7% of our communication to others consists of the words we say. The other 93% is mostly by sub-communication: in other words, by our body language, our vocal tone and inflection, and the way we say things rather than what we say.

Further research showed the following: After 72 hours, the average person remembers the following percentage of information:

• 10% of what we read
• 20% of what we see
• 30% of what we hear
• 50% of what we read and hear
• 80% of what we see and hear

It became obvious that video was the preferred method of communicating with our viewers.
